Research and Policy Project
| Project Title | Correlates of Innovation Activity and Performance: A US-Europe Comparison |
| Overview |
This project seeks to leverage and expand
the Georgia Manufacturing Survey (GMS) which to date comprises the only
repeated dataset about innovation and technology use in the US
consistent with OECD guidelines and can be compared with European
Community Innovation Surveys (CIS). The project data-matches existing Georgia Manufacturing Survey responses from 2005 with innovation survey data for similar European traditional (and restructuring) manufacturing regions in the UK, Spain, and Germany. Linkages between knowledge sources, innovation strategies, and performance are explored. |
