Georgia Innovation Internships
Georgia Tech's Enterprise Innovation Institute and the Georgia Tech Program in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) sponsor a program of innovation internships for students at Georgia Tech and other universities seeking opportunities for hands-on experience linking science, technology, and innovation to economic development.
The first Georgia Innovation Internships were initiated in summer 2005, and the program has been offered each summer since then. After completing their research and policy studies, interns are invited to present their analyses and recommendations to the broader economic development and innovation communities.
The program is again being offered in Summer 2008. For most recent application announcement, select [PDF]. (Applications for 2008 are now closed). Applications for each summer's program are invited in the Fall and early Spring semesters and awarded in the Spring semester. Internships are paid.
