Dr. Daniel Luria has over 20 years of experience as a
researcher and industry analyst. He is the
executive director of the Industrial Technology Institute's Performance Benchmarking
Service
(PBS), which supplies customized benchmarking reports to smaller manufacturers. Prior to
joining ITI, Luria was an economist in the Research Department of the International Union,
UAW in Detroit. Co-author of three books, his work has appeared in the Harvard Business
Review, the International Review of Applied Economics, and The American Prospect. He
received a MA from the University of Michigan (1972), and a Ph.D. from the University of
Massachusetts (1976).
