About the Project
The Georgia Tech Policy Project on Industrial Modernization is concerned with the analysis and evaluation of industrial modernization and technology transfer issues and policies. We conduct research that assesses the diffusion of technology, identifies modernization program best practices and evaluates industrial and regional development impacts.
Based at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, personnel involved in the project include faculty, researchers, and graduate research assistants from the School of Public Policy and the Georgia Tech Economic Development Institute.
The Project Directors are: Dr. Philip Shapira, School of Public Policy, Georgia Institute of Technology; and Dr. Jan Youtie, Georgia Tech Economic Development Institute.
