| Interfirm Collaboration and Industrial Networking: USNet evaluation and other studies |
Involves explicit initiatives to enhance competitiveness through enterprise cooperation. Enterprises may collaborate with one another and with other organizations to cooperate in marketing, training, learning, production, design, technology deployment, and other areas of shared needs and opportunities. Interfirm collaboration is being promoted by business groups and economic development organizations in many different industries, locations, and contexts around the world. We are engaged in assessing and evaluating these initiatives and in identifying best practices. A major project has involved managing the evaluation element of USNet, a federal-state consortium to promote interfirm collaboration. Information about USNet and the USNet evaluation can be found through this site. We have also conducted assessment studies in the US and other countries on interfirm collaboration. Follow the links on the index page (to the left) for more details.
